Professor Saverio Fortunato holds a specialization in Clinical Criminology from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
He is qualified to teach Philosophy, Psychology, and Education Sciences, and has over thirty years of professional experience as an expert witness and technical consultant in Italian courts.

Professor Saverio Fortunato is a specialist in Clinical Criminology, with a strong academic background and an international career.
He obtained his three-year postgraduate specialization at the School of Specialization in the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, within the Institute of Morphological Sciences and Legal Medicine.
His thesis in Forensic Neuropsychiatry, titled “Psychiatric Evaluation in Suspected Child Abuse Cases: An Attempt to Establish Scientific Criteria”, was supervised by Professor Ivan Galliani, Full Professor of Neurology and Forensic Psychiatry, and co-supervised by Professor Salvatore Luberto, Full Professor of Legal Medicine and Director of the School of Specialization.
